Connect with Jesus through these Easter prayers that provide hope. How this helps: This resource provides four Easter prayers that help you connect with Jesus and recognize how He deeply understands what you face.
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” Hebrews 4:14-16 (NIV).
While Easter is when we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, it’s important to remember that Jesus’ journey to the cross was fraught with challenges, betrayals, and deep pain. Jesus is our Great High Priest. His journey of suffering, death, and resurrection gives us hope. Because of what He experienced, we can receive the gift of salvation — and abundant life. We can also be assured that Jesus understands our suffering and finds comfort in the God who loves us.
As you approach Easter, take time to meditate on the fact that Jesus truly understands the troubles you face in this life. Here are some Scriptures and prayers for Easter to help you connect with Him during this time.
